Buena Vida Park to close picnic area for new public art installation

The City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department Public Art Program is set to begin work on a new public art sculpture at Buena Vida Park, located at 3000 Buena Vida Drive. The installation of the foundation will start on November 3, 2025, and is expected to last six days, with completion scheduled for Saturday, November 8.

During this period, the park’s picnic area and the nearby sculpture site will be closed to the public. Residents are asked to avoid all designated work and staging areas for safety reasons.
