City of Las Cruces offers Fall Break Camp for elementary students

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer a Fall Break Camp from October 6 to 10, 2025. The camp is designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade during the Las Cruces Public Schools fall intersession. Activities will include indoor and outdoor games, crafts, and hands-on experiences.

The camp operates daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with breakfast and lunch provided. The fee is $20 per child, plus any additional field trip costs that will be announced before the event. Camp sessions will take place at East Mesa Recreation Center on Porter Drive and Jornada Elementary School on Elks Drive.

Registration opens September 8 and closes September 17. Families can register online at www.lascruces.gov/play or in person at several city facilities during their regular business hours, including the Parks & Recreation Administration office, Meerscheidt Recreation Center, Regional Aquatic Center, and Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center.

Space is limited and registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
