From November 29, 2022 post.

During the month of November, Doña Ana County honors the strength and sacrifices of our veterans, their families and caregivers, and survivors of our veterans and current service members. We sincerely thank them for their service and for answering the call of duty to defend and protect our country and freedoms.

The Organ Community Veterans Coffee Group is one of many groups that continue to serve and give back to our community. We recently recognized them for continuing the legacy of honor, service and working together. They meet regularly at the Organ Community Resource Center with a simple, but impactful mission: to help people.

The Doña Ana Board of County Commissioners along with staff from the Doña Ana County Health & Human Services Department were honored to present them with a proclamation acknowledging their work in our community.
