Gabe Vasquez, a U.S. Congressman representing New Mexico’s 2nd district, has been actively engaging with his constituents and advocating for various issues through social media. His recent posts reflect his commitment to religious freedom, education excellence, and fair economic practices.

On December 8, 2024, Vasquez expressed his support for the American Indian Religious Freedom Summit. He stated, “Sovereign nations should continue to practice their sacred traditions freely. I will continue working to ensure these rights are upheld.”

In a post dated December 9, 2024, Vasquez congratulated White Sands School on receiving a Blue Ribbon Award for academic excellence from the U.S. Department of Education. He noted that it is one of only three schools in New Mexico to receive this recognition.

On December 10, 2024, Vasquez commented on the decision to block the Kroger-Albertsons merger, calling it “a win for consumers and workers.” He argued that such mergers lead to higher prices and fewer jobs and pledged to continue fighting for fair competition to lower costs for all New Mexicans.
