Rep. John Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 51st House district since 2023, posted several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account on September 26, 2025, addressing public safety concerns and legislative activities.

In a post made at 00:13 UTC, Block expressed concern for law enforcement personnel, stating, “They are trying to get us all killed! Pray for everyone’s safety, especially the safety of @ICEgov agents https://t.co/0Gh4a6CxZz”.

Later that day at 01:23 UTC, he commented in agreement with another statement or video by writing, “I actually agree with everything he just said https://t.co/5is3e55ZtA”.

In a third post at 23:53 UTC on the same day, Block reflected on his recent committee work: “Another productive couple of days at the Indian Affairs Committee, held at the Alamo Navajo Reservation, where we heard many topics, including about gaming in the state. I’m a firm believer that the compacts we have now need to change, especially regarding online gaming, such as https://t.co/gayNaYR1QS”.

Block has served in the New Mexico State House since his election in 2023. He succeeded Rachel Black as representative of District 51.
