Rep. John Block, a Republican member of the New Mexico State House representing the 51st district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on November 6, 2025, criticizing the Democratic Party and local organizations.
In one tweet posted at 03:27 UTC, Block addressed congressional gridlock, writing: “Congratulations, the DEMOCRAT PARTY did that. You have held the American people hostage for the longest amount of time in history. Are you proud of yourselves?”
Later that day at 12:20 UTC, Block commented on public safety in Albuquerque with a message referencing a local candidate: “Do you live in Albuquerque and seek to become a homicide victim? No? Then vote for @darrenPwhite.”
At 12:42 UTC, Block criticized food banks and their perceived political affiliations, stating: “I used to be a huge supporter of food banks, but seeing them in recent weeks become shills for Democrats to attempt to hide that they shut down the government, is making me change that view. What do you think? Do you still support food banks that appear in Democrat propaganda?”
Block was elected to his seat in 2023 after replacing Rachel Black as representative for New Mexico’s 51st House district.
