Las Cruces allocates opioid settlement funds to expand treatment and prevention programs

The City of Las Cruces has received funds from national settlements with opioid manufacturers, distributors, and pharmacies. The city plans to use the settlement money to improve access to treatment, support recovery efforts, and prevent addiction.

A statement from the city said: “The City is using these dollars to strengthen treatment access, support recovery, and prevent addiction before it begins.”
