Las Cruces small businesses located in the El Paseo/South Solano Metropolitan Redevelopment Area will soon be able to apply for financial assistance aimed at improving security measures. Starting November 3, 2025, these businesses can seek up to $5,000 in funding for security upgrades.

Applications for this program will open on November 3, 2025. Interested business owners are encouraged to visit LasCruces.gov/SafetyImprovementProgram for more information and to submit their applications.

The initiative is part of a broader effort by the City of Las Cruces to support local businesses and enhance safety within designated redevelopment areas.
