Las Cruces Public Schools is encouraging community members to participate in Principal Appreciation Month by submitting video messages for school principals. The district is inviting students, families, and staff to record short videos expressing their gratitude or sharing memories about their principals.

“October is Principal Appreciation Month, and we invite you to join us in celebrating the incredible leaders who guide our schools each day. Principals play a vital role in shaping a safe, supportive, and thriving environment for our students, families, and staff.”

“We’d love for YOU to be part of the celebration! Record a brief video message telling us what makes your principal special. Your message could be featured on LCPS social media in October as we highlight and honor principals across the district.”

“Take a moment to say thank you, share a memory, or let your principal know the impact they’ve made in your life. Together, we can show our principals how much they are valued and appreciated.”

To submit a video message, participants are directed to use an online platform provided by the district at https://vocalvideo.com/c/lcps-thankaprincipal.

The initiative aims to recognize the contributions of school leaders and highlight their impact within the Las Cruces Public Schools community.

“Thank you for helping us celebrate the leaders who help all learners thrive!”
