NM State lost a narrow 4-3 contest to Lubbock Christian in its regular season finale on April 11 at the NM State Tennis Center.

The outcome was significant as it marked the end of the regular season for the Aggies, setting their focus on upcoming postseason play. The match was closely contested, with both teams exchanging leads throughout.

The Aggies started strong by sweeping all three doubles matches. Holland Snell and Lance Urlaub secured a 6-4 win on court one, while Roko Stipetic and Tobias Wallin earned a 6-3 victory on court two. Laurendi Fischer and Patrick Lohmann completed the sweep with another 6-3 win on court three, giving NM State an early advantage.

In singles play, Lubbock Christian won four out of six matches to claim the overall victory. Wallin lost in straight sets on court one, and Stipetic dropped a close match on court three. Lohmann also fell after pushing his opponent to three sets on court six. However, Snell provided a straight-set win for NM State on court two, and Urlaub added another point with his own straight-set victory on court five.

The deciding match came down to Matias Rojas on court four. After battling into a third set, Rojas was unable to overcome his opponent as Lubbock Christian clinched the team win.

With this result concluding their regular season schedule, NM State will now prepare for the Conference USA Tournament starting April 17 at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
