New Mexico State University’s Undergraduate Admissions, in partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, will host a free virtual HSF College 101 workshop on Saturday, Sept. 20. The event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. via Zoom and is designed for middle and high school students and their families to learn about college preparation.

Registration is required for the workshop, which can be completed at https://www.hsf.net/2025-college101-CT by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18.

“This is an excellent opportunity for all middle and high school students, along with their families, to receive information related to the college preparation and admissions process,” said Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Tony Marin.

The HSF College 101 program will cover steps involved in planning for higher education. Sessions will address topics such as preparing for and applying to college, paying for college, applying for scholarships, and researching financial aid opportunities. The program will be available in both English and Spanish.

For more information about the event or registration process, individuals may contact NMSU Aggie One-Stop at 575-646-6678.
