Otero County Announces a Important Notice Road Department Will Be Conducting Rock Scaling at 172 Fresnal Canyon

From March 30, 2023 post. 

On April 24th, Otero County Road Department will be conducting rock scaling at 172 Fresnal Canyon. This project is expected to take two weeks during which time Fresnal Canyon Road will be closed to all but local traffic with no through traffic. All attempts will be made to keep the road open during nights and weekends for emergency traffic. The Road Dept. will advise all parties on a day-to-day basis in the event of any changes. This closure is expected to last until the May 4th.
