Representative Rebecca Dow, a Republican serving New Mexico’s 38th House district since 2025, recently shared a series of posts on her social media account, addressing topics ranging from judicial elections to COVID-19 vaccination decisions.
On October 10, 2025, Dow advised voters on the process of judicial retention elections in New Mexico. She wrote: “Step 1- When it’s time to elect judges vote ‘do not retain’. They can put their name on the ballot and earn your vote like every other elected official. @beauhightowerdn https://t.co/5NbrCmGWbt”.
The following day, Dow posted a brief congratulatory message. On October 11, 2025, she stated: “Congrats to all! https://t.co/S49SzijcRE”.
Later that same day, Dow commented on COVID-19 booster shots and parental choice regarding vaccinations for young children. She posted: “Trump is free to get his COVID booster. No one is stopping anyone from getting a COVID shot. Parents, in consultation with their doctor (not the government), should decide if their 6 month old needs on. https://t.co/AZGUhqRV8I”.
Dow was elected to the state legislature in 2025, succeeding Tara Jaramillo as representative for New Mexico’s 38th House district.
