Representative Rebecca Dow, a Republican serving New Mexico’s 38th House district since her election in 2025, has shared updates about her recent legislative activities and positions on social media.
On January 17, 2026, Dow provided insight into her schedule and committee work: “Still in Santa Fe. Started the day with a 7:30 radio interview. Then a pre-meeting with our minorty members (republicans) of the House Appropriations and Finance Committee. HAFC will continue to meet 6 days a week until the budget bill (HB2) is voted on by the entire house body.”
The following day, January 18, she posted a brief message: “Shall not be infringed!”
On January 19, Dow made clear her voting intention regarding an unspecified measure: “I will be voting “NO!””
Dow succeeded Tara Jaramillo as representative for New Mexico’s 38th district after winning the seat in the state’s most recent election cycle.
