On January 17, 2026, Dow provided insight into her schedule and committee work: “Still in Santa Fe. Started the day with a 7:30 radio interview. Then a pre-meeting with our minorty members (republicans) of the House Appropriations and Finance Committee. HAFC will continue to meet 6 days a week until the budget bill (HB2) is voted on by the entire house body.”

The following day, January 18, she posted a brief message: “Shall not be infringed!”

On January 19, Dow made clear her voting intention regarding an unspecified measure: “I will be voting “NO!””

Dow succeeded Tara Jaramillo as representative for New Mexico’s 38th district after winning the seat in the state’s most recent election cycle.
