Rep. John Block, a Republican elected to the New Mexico State House in 2023 representing the state’s 51st House district, posted several messages on his social media account in January 2026, commenting on legislative activities and congratulating national figures.
On January 19, 2026, Block wrote: “Ran into my buddy Senator Rex Wilson! Can’t wait to serve alongside him for our great area of the state!”
The following day marked the start of the legislative session. On January 20, Block posted: “Happy Legislature Opening Day! We got this.”
Later that same day, he extended congratulations to Vice President Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance with the message: “Congratulations, VP and Second Lady Usha Vance!!! “
Block succeeded Rachel Black as representative for New Mexico’s 51st House district after being elected in 2023.
