Rep. John Block, a Republican representing New Mexico’s 51st House district since 2023, shared legislative updates and political opinions in a series of posts on November 7, 2025.

In his first post, Block recapped a recent community event: “It was great to join the Coalition of Conservatives in Action in Las Cruces last week to give a legislative update about our region! Thanks to Pastor Diaz of Desert Oasis Church for hosting the event. We must hold the line for our conservative New Mexico values and never back https://t.co/hwTZ0yZOOo” (November 7, 2025).

Later that day, Block commented on public safety concerns and local leadership: “People are literally being stabbed, shot, mugged, robbed, and people are tweaking out on fentanyl in the middle of Central. And what is Keller doing? Petting dogs in his office. @darrenPwhite is the only serious candidate who is actually focusing on the issues. Choice is clear. https://t.co/P5ykXwXHHA” (November 7, 2025).

He also directed followers to learn more about Darren White’s platform: “Read more about Darren and his platform here: https://t.co/UCLZG0iudh” (November 7, 2025).

Block was elected to the New Mexico State House in 2023 after succeeding Rachel Black as representative for District 51.
