Rep. John Block, a Republican member of the New Mexico State House representing the 51st district since 2023, has recently shared updates on his activities and condolences through a series of posts on social media.
On September 21, 2025, Block provided an update about his recent visit to Israel with other state legislators. Later that day, he posted a message expressing condolences for Charlie Kirk. On September 21, 2025, he stated, “Rest in Peace, Charlie Kirk “.
Continuing his legislative work after returning from abroad, Block reported his involvement in committee meetings within New Mexico. On September 22, 2025, he posted: “Just days off the plane from Israel, I’m already hard at work for YOU at the Courts, Corrections, and Justice Committee in Albuquerque until Wednesday. Then, I attend Indian Affairs Committee in Alamo Navajo Indian Reservation Thursday and Friday. https://t.co/YxTNsACZiG”.
Block began serving as a state representative after being elected in 2023 to succeed Rachel Black as the representative for New Mexico’s 51st House district.
