Las Cruces police investigate critical stabbing on Telshor Boulevard

Las Cruces police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a 34-year-old man critically injured. The incident occurred on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at around 5 p.m. Police and fire services responded to reports of a stabbing victim at a business located in the 300 block of South Telshor Boulevard.

Upon arrival, first responders found the victim with at least one stab wound. He was unconscious and in critical condition when he was taken to a nearby hospital. As of Tuesday morning, his condition remains critical.

Investigators have determined that the stabbing likely took place near the intersection of Telshor Boulevard and an entrance to several businesses in the area. After being stabbed, the victim managed to walk to a nearby business before collapsing.

The Las Cruces police are pursuing several leads but have not made any arrests yet. They urge anyone with information related to this case to contact them at (575) 526-0795.
