From February 17,  2023 post.

We were honored to host the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Junior Leadership program students at the Government Center yesterday!

Local area high school juniors met with County Commissioner Christopher Schaljo-Hernandez, County Clerk Amanda López Askin, and Assistant County Manager Jonathan Macias to learn how elected officials serve the community during the “Government Day” tour.

They also got an up-close look at how the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad keeps the public safe from harm.

We sure hope they enjoyed their visit as much as we did!
