Census Bureau: More women than men in Las Cruces in 2019

Of the 102,102 people living in Las Cruces in 2019, 51.6 percent (52,709) were women and 48.4 percent (49,393) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW New Mexico News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 31,728-to-30,848. In the 65 and over age range, there were 8,772 females and 7,203 males.
