Please join us in congratulating the newest Special Operations Response Team (SORT) Operators!

Each Operator went through more than 300 hours of rigorous physical and mental training to prepare for high-risk incidents that may occur at the Doña Ana County Detention Center. SORT Operators provide specialized responses to critical incidents beyond the normal capabilities of Detention Officers such as riots, high-risk transports, cell extractions, and hostage rescues.
We congratulate and thank them all for their commitment to public safety!
