Census Bureau: 80.3% of people in Grant County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 28,178 citizens living in Grant County in 2021, 80.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 22,630 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,127 were male, constituting 49.2%, and 11,503 were female, making up 50.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Grant County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77%.
