How many people were old enough to vote in Luna County during 2021?

Of the 25,282 citizens living in Luna County in 2021, 73% were old enough to vote, equating to 18,456 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 9,382 were male, constituting 50.8%, and 9,074 were female, making up 49.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Luna County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77%.
