Award-winning graphic designer Yeohyun Ahn to speak at NMSU

NMSU's Department of Art will host a lecture by award-winning graphic designer, educator, and researcher Yeohyun Ahn at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the bleachers area in Devasthali Hall. The event will also be available via Zoom, with registration required.

Ahn is known for her work in creative coding, diversity, and global leadership. She leads several research projects including the interdisciplinary typography project TYPE+CODE Series; Social Homelessness on U.S. campuses, which brings awareness to Asian female faculty in America; and Evolving Graphic Design aimed at promoting academic diversity. In 2022, Ahn received the Society of Experimental Graphic Design Educator Award.
