The Scale Up New Mexico program, partially funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and hosted by Arrowhead Center at New Mexico State University, is now open for applications to its GenAI Go-to-Market Success Sprint accelerator. This initiative is aimed at tech startups in New Mexico and focuses on developing AI-enhanced sales and marketing strategies.
Running every Thursday from April 10 to May 15, the program offers free participation for selected applicants. Applications are due by March 28, with notifications of acceptance sent out by April 3.
Dana Catron, interim director of Arrowhead Center, highlighted the importance of this program: “The GenAI Go-to-Market Success Sprint serves as an essential platform for New Mexico’s entrepreneurs, equipping them with the critical guidance needed to sharpen their sales and marketing strategies.” Participants will learn how to use AI tools and ethical best practices while creating AI-driven customer profiles and messaging frameworks.
Over six weeks, participants will engage in sessions combining theoretical instruction with practical application. The sprint includes workshops, exercises, and feedback opportunities focused on using Generative AI for market research and customer segmentation.
Carlos Murguia, program manager for Scale Up NM, explained the approach: “Our approach to the GenAI Go-to-Market Success Sprint is holistic and innovative, designed to empower entrepreneurs to build marketing pipelines with generative AI tools.” The program aims to automate outreach tasks and scale content creation effectively.
To qualify for participation, startups must be based in or planning to relocate to New Mexico. They must attend weekly virtual sessions and demonstrate involvement in technology-based innovation.
