Gabe Vasquez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Mexico's 2nd district since 2023, has recently shared his views on several political matters through social media posts. Born in El Paso, Texas in 1984 and currently residing in Las Cruces, Vasquez graduated from New Mexico State University in 2008 with a BA.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Gabe Vasquez expressed his opposition to a funding bill proposed by House Republicans. He stated: "I voted NO on House Republicans’ partisan funding bill."

In another post dated March 12, 2025, Vasquez criticized the Trump Administration for its approach to education policy. He remarked: "The Trump Administration is abandoning our students and their families. Truly shameful."

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Gabe Vasquez issued a statement regarding the passing of fellow congressman Rep. Raúl Grijalva. His message was shared as follows: "My statement on Rep. Raúl Grijalva's passing."
