The City of Las Cruces has announced that its Cashiering Program will be closed to the public on the morning of April 10, 2025, from 8 a.m. to noon due to staff training. During this timeframe, staff will not be available to assist customers, but normal operations will resume immediately afterward.

Despite this temporary closure, utility customers are encouraged to use alternative payment methods. Payments can be deposited in the drop-box located between City Hall and Thomas Branigan Memorial Library after hours. Additionally, the city offers a pay-by-phone service available 24 hours a day by calling (575) 541-2111 and pressing 4, with options to pay using an e-check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card.

Online payments are also possible through UtilityHawk, where customers can make payments or set up an auto-draft for their utility bills. Payments can also be made in cash at any Las Cruces Walmart store, although a $1 service fee applies. For those preferring a one-time online payment solution, PaymentUS offers a dedicated platform for such transactions.

The city's Cashiering Program expressed appreciation for the public's understanding and assistance during this period. For further inquiries, the Cashiering Program can be reached at (575) 541-2138.
