Of the 907 citizens living in La Union in 2020, 748 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 459 of those people were female and 289 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2021 will be released later this year.
