We would like to recognize and thank the following members of the Doña Ana County Investment Advisory Committee for their many years of service:
* Dr. Chris Erickson, Interim Department Head and Professor of Economics at New Mexico State University,
* William Jacobs, President of White Sands Federal Credit Union, and
* George Ruth, Former President of Citizens Bank of Las Cruces
The Investment Advisory Committee is part of Doña Ana County's investment policy. They provide guidance and oversight to the County Treasurer, Eric Rodriguez, who manages the investment portfolio. This adds another layer of transparency to how taxpayer dollars are managed.
The committee includes two members from the local banking community and one private citizen along with the following representatives of Doña Ana County:
* Fernando Macias, County Manager,
* Asma Dawood, Finance Director, and
* Shannon Reynolds, County Commissioner of District 3.
