The New Mexico Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration are hosting two Public Meetings to discuss the I-25 Safety & Capacity Study, on I-25 from the Lohman Interchange to the Doña Ana Interchange and on Thorpe Road from Barela Drive to I-25 in Doña Ana.
The purpose of the study is to address safety and capacity needs, including deficiencies with pavement, geometry, access control, drainage management, and Americans with Disability Act facilities.
The purpose of the Public Meetings is to review the study, present information on existing conditions, and discuss the alternatives considered and initial recommendations.
The first meeting will be held as a Virtual Meeting on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, and will primarily focus on I-25 from the Lohman to Doña Ana Interchanges. The meeting will involve a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. Register now at: https://bit.ly/i25feb22 for the February 22 virtual meeting. The second meeting will be held as a combined Virtual and In-Person Public Meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, and will focus on the NM 320 (Thorpe Road) study area between Barela Drive and I-25.
