2022: 11 coaches at institution in Grant County earned on average $45,290

Grant County’s 11 coaches earned an average salary of $45,290 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the fifth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at New Mexico post-secondary schools during 2022.

Grant County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $49,158 on average in Grant County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $42,066.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
