The outline of Las Cruces Public School's newest facility, Columbia Elementary, is beginning to take shape. In a recent video update, the earthwork continues, stem wall construction is in progress, and plumbing rough-in has commenced on the lower level of the school.
Columbia Elementary School will feature over 103,000 square feet of learning space designed to accommodate 752 students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The projected completion date is set for the start of the 2025-26 school year.
