Maria Nuñez recognized for contributions at NMSU Agricultural Science Center

Maria Nuñez serves as the administrative assistant for the NMSU Agricultural Science Center at Clovis. Her contributions have been recognized as valuable to both the center's staff and the community.

Originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, Nuñez graduated from Bovina High School in Bovina, Texas. She began her career with NMSU shortly after high school graduation, starting as a temporary laborer in the summer of 2009. By August 2013, she was hired as an administrative assistant.

Nuñez handles various responsibilities including timesheets and hiring processes. The center's staff appreciates her ability to manage these tasks efficiently. Additionally, she assists with Spanish translations and supports both staff and the public to ensure that the center is well represented.

Nuñez is also known for her love of animals, particularly her cats and chickens.
