New Mexico State University (NMSU) is preparing to welcome alumni, students, and the community for its College of Arts and Sciences Homecoming events scheduled from November 7 to November 9. The series of events will include exhibitions, presentations, and social gatherings across various locations on campus.

The festivities begin with a "Throwback to Homecoming" exhibition at the University Museum in Kent Hall. This exhibition will highlight the history of homecoming events at NMSU. The opening night is set for Thursday, November 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with extended museum hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 8 and 9.

On November 7, activities commence with an Arts & Sciences College Carnival taking place between Williams and Stewart from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Later in the day, a presentation by Maury Giles about artificial intelligence and its future implications will be held at the Corbett Center Auditorium from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. An invitation-only Scholarship & Alumni Dinner is also planned for that evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The homecoming celebrations conclude on November 9 with a College of Arts and Sciences tailgate event scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., located in the Pan Am parking lot at the corner of Arrowhead and Stewart.

The series of events aims to provide engaging visuals ranging from carnivals and tailgates to exhibitions and dinners as part of NMSU's effort to bring together alumni for this celebratory occasion.
