Las Cruces Public Libraries is introducing a new themed painting program at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library. The program will start on February 1, 2025, and will run from 1-5 p.m. in the Craft Room on the first floor of the library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave.

The program is designed to occur on the first Saturday of every other month. In February, participants are encouraged to explore their interpretations of "love" through painting. April's theme will be Star Wars, leading up to a May art show, while June's theme will focus on colors as part of the Summer Reading Program titled "Color Our World."

Participants are asked to register online via an interactive calendar for this free all-ages event. For those needing accommodations due to disabilities, contact the library at least 48 hours in advance at (575) 528-4102 or TTY 711.

For further information about the program, Deanna Duffy, Librarian, can be contacted at (575) 528-4005 or via email.
