Registration for the Parks and Recreation Department's Spring Break Camp will commence on February 10, 2025. The camp is set to take place during the Las Cruces Public Schools' intercession from March 10-21. Two locations have been designated for the event: Fairacres Elementary School and Jornada Elementary School.
The program promises a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, games, field trips, with breakfast and lunch provided daily. It is designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The cost is $20 per child, though some field trips may incur additional fees announced in advance.
Parents can register their children online or in person at several Parks and Recreation facilities within specified business hours. These include the Castaneda Parks and Recreation Administration Building, Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, and Meerscheidt Recreation Center.
Space is limited; therefore, registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis until February 28. For further information regarding the camp or registration process, interested parties are encouraged to contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (575) 541-2550.
