Las Cruces Public Libraries and AARP are organizing a discussion titled "Adulting for Older Adults: 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline." The event, set for February 26, will feature an informative presentation by the Dona Ana County Health and Human Services Department. It is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave., accessible via Roadrunner Transit Route 1.

The "Adulting for Older Adults" series addresses topics relevant to seniors, caregivers, and families. Future discussions will cover planning and caring for a family member or close friend, end-of-life options and preparation, as well as brain health.

Individuals requiring accommodations due to disabilities are encouraged to contact the library at (575) 528-4102 or TTY 711 at least two days prior to the event.
