The pickleball courts at the East Mesa Public Recreation Center will undergo intermittent closures starting March 17, 2025. This is due to the installation of shade structures by the Las Cruces Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments. The project is expected to take eight weeks.
During this period, closures will affect one-half of the complex at a time. There may be instances when the entire pickleball complex is temporarily closed for equipment and material mobilization. Ensuring the safety of workers and visitors remains a top priority.
The public is advised to adhere to all project postings and avoid designated work and staging areas.
