The Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) is organizing its third "MOC on the Block" event, set to take place on March 25 at the Albertsons grocery store located on North Main Street. This community gathering will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at 2501 N. Main St.
The MOC, which stands for Mobile Operations Command, is a unit of LCPD dedicated to engaging with residents through community outreach initiatives. Officers and advocates will be present at the mobile unit to discuss concerns about crime and safety in local neighborhoods.
The event is part of a broader effort by LCPD to foster communication between law enforcement and the community they serve.
