Homes located on 2900 Broadmoor Drive in Las Cruces are set to experience a planned water outage on April 2, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The disruption will support the Stern Drive Waterline Extension Project, according to city officials.

Adjacent areas might also face a water cutoff. Residents will be informed through a door hanger notice delivered at least 24 hours before the outage occurs.

Post service restoration, the water may appear discolored due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. The City of Las Cruces assures that the water remains safe to consume but advises residents to postpone laundry until the water clears.

If discoloration persists beyond 24 hours, residents are advised to flush all cold-water faucets for five minutes. Unresolved issues can be directed to the Las Cruces Utilities Dispatch at 526-0500.

For additional information, residents can contact 575/528-3689. The TTY number is 575/528-3541.
