City of Alamogordo recently issued the following announcement.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 8 AM – 2 PM MDT
Where: Griggs Fields
On Saturday, September 26th from 8 am to 2pm, Keep Alamogordo Beautiful (KAB) will again be beautifying Griggs Sports Complex. This month's project involves landscaping between the complex and Fairgrounds Rd. Volunteers will be laying down landscape fabric, red mesa rock, and large accent rocks! KAB will supply the tools and supplies, but volunteers are welcome to bring metal racks, shovels, and gloves if they wish. This is a great volunteer opportunity! @Fatwood BBQ & Pizza will be sponsoring lunch & @Trisha Robert's Agency will be providing water of the event. Please remember to follow all current NM Public Health orders if you plan to attend, Thanks!
