CIBOLA COUNTY: County Offices COVID-19 Scheduling

Cibola County issued the following announcement on Oct. 27. 

Cibola County Commission passed Resolution 2020-57 Establishing a Data Based Approach to Phased County Staffing During Covid.

The following phases will be based on the reporting by the New Mexico Department of Health website.

Phase I - Green  In Phase 1, all County Offices will be fully staffed onsite. The County will enter Phase 1 where the average daily cases in Cibola County are under 8 per 100 and test positivity is under 5%

Phase II - Orange  In Phase II, all County offices will operate on an alternating team basis approach, wherein employees will alternate between working remotely and working onsite in cohorts comprised  of half of each department, with the exception of the Sheriff's Department, the Road Department, Dispatch, Emergency Services, and other essential services as designate by the County Manager. The County will enter Phase II where the average daily cases in Cibola County are 8 or more per 100,000 and test positivity rate is under 5%.

Phase III - Yellow In Phase III, all County offices will operate on an alternating team basis approach, wherein employees will alternate between working remotely and working onsite in cohorts comprised of half of each department, with the exception of the Sheriff's Department, the Road Department, Dispatch, Emergency Services, and other essential services as designate by the County Manager. The offices will be available to the public by appointment only. The County will enter Phase III where the average daily cases in Cibola County are under 8 per 100,000 and test positivity is 5% or greater.

Phase IV - Red  In Phase IV, All County Offices will be completely closed and all work completed remotely, with the exception of the Sheriff's Department, the Road Department, Dispatch, Emergency Services, and other essential services as designate by the County Manager. The County will enter Phase IV where the Average Daily cases in Cibola County are 8 or more per 100,000 and test positivity is 5% or greater.
