Dona Ana County NM issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.
Doña Ana County is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the County’s Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA Advisory Committee.
The advisory committee studies a broad range of issues related to ADA requirements and implementation and assists the County in identifying and setting priorities for compliance projects.
The advisory committee meets on a regular basis, currently during the workday, at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces.
Residents are invited to apply if they have significant disabilities included within the protections of the ADA; experience in ADA compliance; or a background or experience in disability and accessibility related matters. Applicants may not be Doña Ana County officials or staff members.
Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m., Friday, November 13 and are available at www.donaanacounty.org/ada. To request a mailed application, please call (575) 525-5881. Residents calling from outside the Las Cruces area may call toll-free at 1-877-827-7200.
