Doña Ana County’s Agriculture Remains Strong

Doña Ana County issued the following announcement on March 29.

The agricultural community has a significant place in Doña Ana County, making us a leading producer of chile peppers, onions and pecans. With an estimated 1,000 square miles of farm and ranch land, Doña Ana County’s agriculture remains strong.

The Doña Ana County Government Center has partnered with the NMSU Doña Ana Cooperative Extension Service, La Semilla Food Center, and Casa de Peregrinos (Emergency Food Program) to help improve community food security and support local agriculture and food production.
