Sierra County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a Seventh Judicial District Court search warrant at 840 Highway 181 space #7, due to an ongoing investigation of trafficking-controlled substances. As a result of the search warrant methamphetamines were recovered from the residence. Alejandro Chavez was taken into custody on scene and charged by Lt. Joshua Baker for resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer.
