This week, Doña Ana County salutes one of our key partners in their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team at La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) has delivered 10,590 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, both through their clinics and through vaccination PODs (Points of Distribution) they set up in the southern portion of Doña Ana County. Their outreach has been crucial in reaching some of the smaller communities, like San Miguel. LCDF set up special vaccination events at businesses in order to provide convenient access for employees - regardless of shift schedules - while minimizing time away from work. The trust that the LCDF team has developed with their patients has also been instrumental in addressing concerns, especially in the early days of the vaccinations when there were a lot of questions from patients and their families.
