Since 1925, many Hispanic and Latino communities celebrate Dia de los Niños annually (April 30) to celebrate the importance of advocacy for all children. The 2020 Census reported 24% of the Doña Ana County population as being home to Hispanic or Latino children under the age of 18.
We support Día de los Niños throughout Doña Ana County and urge everyone to join in celebrations, recognize and commend parents, advocates, service providers, and other child-serving organizations in our community, for their commitment to improve the lives of children in Doña Ana County every single day!
