Fire Station 13 (South Valley) went to summer school at Tombaugh Elementary on Friday, June 10, to help the children beat the heat for the school’s Water Days. The firefighters brought two trucks with hoses to cool the children off after giving them a presentation about fire safety and how to beat the heat during the hot summer.
Thank you to Tombaugh Elementary for inviting us out. These demonstrations are fun for the children and our firefighters. Most importantly, the education helps our community. Las Cruces Public Schools
