Did you know that the Doña Ana County Fire & Emergency Services Department responds to medical emergencies, automobile accidents and rescue calls in addition to fires?
There is a regular purchase of new fire equipment to cycle out units 10 years or older, those with high pump hours and high mileage. Purchasing new equipment ensures greater reliability when responding to an emergency.
The new fire trucks will be all white. They will go through the process of being striped with Fire & EMS’ branding, outfitted with equipment, in-service training to adjust to the new trucks before being put into service.
