September 18-24 is National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week! To help ensure that children are properly secured in an appropriate car or booster seat, come on down to the New Mexico Department of Health building at 1170 N. Solano Dr. in Las Cruces on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Parents and caregivers should bring their car seat, car seat manual, vehicle manual, and the child - if possible. Car seat inspections will be first-come, first-served and no appointments are necessary.
